in 1992 when she was just graduating from high school, Amanda Bossard started her education in marine biology at Alaska Pacific University in Anchorage,AK. Bossard began her career in the industry of commercial seafood in 1999. That year she was employed on Murat Aritan's 65-foot halibut boat, which was later converted into a fish tender. Bossard has married Aritan. They have now come together and have claimed their respective industries. They are supporters of conservative and lucrative renewable resources for seafood management.
